This edition of the iTalk Mastermind series brought three founders on stage for a candid conversation on business building — from the ideas that sparked their ventures to the decisions that shaped their growth. Students got a rare, unfiltered look into what entrepreneurship actually looks like beyond the pitch decks and headlines — the risks, the pivots, and the persistence it takes to build something of your own.

In partnership with NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets), this session gave students a structured introduction to how markets work, how to think about risk, and what responsible investing actually looks like in practice.

What do freshers actually bring to the table in a corporate environment? This session tackled that question head-on. This session went further, using the metaphor of “The 8 Horse Chariot” to unpack the less obvious forces that actually drive strong leadership. Deependra Chokkasamudra drew on his experience in growth leadership to walk students through what separates leaders who chase targets from those who build lasting impact.

Understanding what the budget means for businesses, markets, and the nation. This session brought together finance and business experts to break down the Union Budget 2026 and its ripple effects across industries. The panel covered taxation, regulatory shifts, and what the year’s fiscal announcements mean for businesses trying to plan ahead — connecting policy directly to real-world strategy.
A conversation on sustainability, responsibility, and building a better India.
This fireside chat brought students face-to-face with Ms. Revathi Kamath, a renowned environmentalist, landscaper, and philanthropist, for an intimate conversation on sustainability and leadership. Ms. Kamath drew on her decades of work in environmental and landscape design to speak on what responsibility really means — both as an individual and as part of a larger community. The visit also included a tree plantation activity on campus, turning the conversation into action.
The future of healthcare needs business minds.
This session made the case for why healthcare is one of the most promising sectors for MBA graduates today — not just for those with a clinical background, but for anyone who understands business, quality, and operations. Mamatha S G spoke on how the healthcare industry is opening up to business talent, and what MBA graduates bring to a sector that’s rapidly professionalizing.

For MBA students, understanding HR isn’t just about hiring and policies — it’s about how decisions ripple through people, roles, and entire organisations. This session broke down HR thinking through real scenarios rather than textbook theory. Apitha Iyer walked the MBA 2024-26 cohort through how HR shapes outcomes at every level, from individual roles to organisational culture.
