Learning Beyond Borders. Building Global Perspectives.
First Impressions. New Perspectives.
The journey began with an exciting arrival in Malaysia, where the MBA 2024 cohort stepped into a country known for its rich cultural heritage and modern skyline. From the beautifully planned city of Putrajaya to the iconic Thean Hou Temple, every destination offered a glimpse into Malaysia’s unique identity. The evening concluded at Bukit Bintang and the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers, setting the tone for an unforgettable international experience.

A City Where Heritage Meets Innovation.
The second day unfolded through the heart of Kuala Lumpur, where every landmark reflected a different chapter of Malaysia’s story. From panoramic views at the KL Tower Observatory to the underwater world of Aquaria KLCC, and from the National Mosque and National Monument to Independence Square and the King’s Palace, the day blended history, culture and innovation into one enriching experience.
Every stop offered fresh perspectives, making the city itself a classroom beyond borders.

The journey continued at the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, home to the world-renowned Royal Selangor Pewter. Here, students explored the brand’s rich heritage, witnessed the craftsmanship behind pewter manufacturing, and learned how precision, innovation, and business excellence have shaped one of Malaysia’s most recognised global brands.

Beyond the Classroom
The fourth day took students to the breathtaking Genting Highlands, where spectacular mountain views, a scenic cable car ride, and one of Malaysia’s most iconic destinations created an unforgettable experience. Beyond its natural beauty and attractions, the visit provided insights into Malaysia’s thriving tourism and hospitality industry while giving students time to connect, reflect, and create lasting memories together.
It was a day that perfectly balanced exploration, learning, and the spirit of shared adventure.

Farewell to Malaysia
The final day began with a visit to the magnificent Batu Caves, one of Malaysia’s most iconic cultural and spiritual landmarks. Students then explored local markets, picked up souvenirs, and enjoyed their final moments together before heading to the airport.
As the Malaysia Global Immersion Programme came to a close, everyone returned home with far more than photographs and keepsakes. They carried back new perspectives, stronger friendships, greater confidence, and a deeper appreciation of different cultures and global business environments. While the journey ended, the experiences and memories will continue to inspire long after the trip.
