BCA Guest Session: Cracking the IT Code with Experience of Expertise

One of the USPs of the IZee Business School, one of the top B schools in Bangalore, is that it keeps the students connected with the industry through expert insights. Accordingly, IZee Business School invited experts from the IT industry for the students of the BCA. The session aimed to familiarise the students with the insights necessary for a successful long-term career in the information technology (IT) sector. The BCA guest session was up for a show.

The guest for the session was Ms. Amruta Bhide. She is the Engineering Director in IP Validation for Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. She has more than 20 years of IT experience and bears the industry’s most profound insights. She was welcomed with complete honour and was given a bouquet. The session was as insightful as it could get. She reflected on a few crucial topics. One of the main insights was the highlight that the competition is considerable. “The IT field is very competitive.” However, adding on, she remarked one could easily navigate this by being confident and updating oneself with the industry’s dynamism. Discussing the latter, she added, “Your network helps a lot. You also have to take up courses for new technical changes in the subjects concerned.” The students also engaged in a learning-heavy Q&A discussion.

The students were very grateful for the session. “It’s nice to hear from the industry experts. One gets to observe their different thinking and how the corporate world is totally different from what the books teach us,” one of the attendees remarked. A vote of thanks was organised for Ms. Amruta, and a representative awarded it on behalf of the school. Contemplating the experience, she commented, “The people at IZee College were a great host. It’s always fulfilling to educate the young minds and to observe their curiosity.” “IZee looks forward to conducting more such sessions—they are full of insights,” the Dean said.
