The 26th of November is recognized as National Constitution Day, and IZee organized an event. The event began at 10:00 and was spearheaded by a final year B. Com. student, Ms. Meghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Assistant Professor from the Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Ms. Manasa M, welcomed the faculty, followed by the students reflecting on the day&#8217;s importance. Dr. Saraswathi Kumble, the Principal; Ms. Nancy Thiara, the Director of Corporate Relations; Mr. Ganesh, the Head of the BCA Department; and Mr. Balakrishnan, the Vice Principal, lit the lamp and officiated the event. Students and other faculty members joined the ceremony as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the performances, the first one lined up was the invocation song presented by Ms. Krishna, who poured her heart and soul into the performance, which brought about feelings of devotion and great respect for the values ingrained in the Indian constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the mesmerizing performance, the Principal, Dr. Saraswathi Kumble, delivered an inspiring speech. Throughout her words, she remarked on the journey of the Indian constitution, the vision that the framers of the constitution had, and how it is consistently relevant to the modern world. To support the statements of the Principal on the constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, a Preamble recitation by Ms. Dency, Assistant Professor of Commerce and Management Studies. The recitation filled a deep sense of unity and patriotism among the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seeing all of them in practice was essential to ingrain the concepts of constitutional values. Accordingly, a mock parliamentary session was organized. The topic of discussion was \u201cSocial Media and Students: Should the Age Be 18 or 21?\u201d A full hour of discussion succeeded. The scene was full of intellectual aura. It\u2019s always great to see students\u2019 thought processes come out in a structured manner through words. The session\u2019s summary would be perspectives, well-reasoned arguments, democracy, and governance. Overall, more than a mere debate and discussion, it brought out students\u2019 critical thinking skills aligned with parliamentary procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day was close to its end. Mr. Rishan, a 2nd year BCA student, expressed a vote of thanks for the day, highlighting gratitude for the faculty, participants, and the organizing team for arranging a patriotic day like this. The day concluded with everyone singing the National Anthem\u2014a perfect patriotic end to the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Celebrating Constitution Day wasn\u2019t just for the sake of it. It had a larger purpose of teaching the students and all the attendees about the nationalistic values that we all, as citizens of India, should have with us. Events like these in one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/izeeinstitutions.com\/\"><strong>top B schools in Bangalore<\/strong><\/a> remind us that patriotism should not only flow out on days like these, but we should carry the feeling 365 days a year.
