Winter Carnival 2024: Turning the Chill into a Thrill

Winter kicked in, and the faculty and students at IZee Business School, one of the top BBA colleges in Bangalore, were up for another event—Winter Carnival. The event on 20th December 2024 perfectly captured the essence of the climate. The event featured students and faculty members participating in cultural activities, vibrant stalls, and a strong sense of camaraderie. The Winter Carnival created long-lasting memories, one that the participants and the attendees would reflect on later.

The event was initiated with a warm welcome by Ms. Nancy Thiara, the Director of Corporate Relations at IZee Business School. Her address remarked on the collaborative efforts of the students and faculty in setting the tone for the carnival. She further stated how these events are a testament to the unity and creativity of the students at the best MBA college in Bangalore. Ms. Rani Srinivas, the Director of the Career Development Cell at IZee, kicked off the event with her impromptu rendition of Jingle Bells. Her performance perfectly laid the foundation for the cultural events that followed.

The program’s first performance was a flash mob by Karthik and his team. The crowd, completely energised by vibrant moves and a festive spirit, witnessed a glamorous ramp walk in which students showed off their style and moved confidently. Conclusively, two students were crowned Mr Winter and Ms Winter, and the crowd celebrated their performance and presentation with excitement.

Creative stalls and activities were set up by the members of the IZee community to follow the cultural program. The stalls beautifully fused tradition with modernity:

  • Food Stalls: Offering a variety of delicious treats to satiate every palate.
  • Makeup Stalls: Providing quick makeovers and showcasing beauty products.
  • Kurti Stalls: Displaying elegant traditional and fashionable kurtis.
  • Mehendi Stalls: Adding a traditional touch with intricate henna designs.
  • Fridge Magnet Stalls: Offering unique and artistic souvenirs you can stick to your fridge to remember the day.

The Winter Carnival, being a one-of-a-kind event, was a huge success. The attendees left the event with cherished memories and a renewed feeling of community. Be it the start of the event by the faculty, the cultural program, or the stalls and activities, all of them were filled with the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the students and the faculty. The laughter, camaraderie, and shared experiences were all just starting points for the expectations from next year’s vibrant celebration.
