Most of the top BBA colleges in Bangalore promise industry exposure but fail to do so in the longer term in the course’s roadmap. However, one of the evident cases of the fulfillment of this promise is by IZee Business School. On 15th November, IZee took one of the most significant steps in the MBA college community: they announced their partnership with the International Business Machines (IBM) corporation. The collaboration aims to leverage IBM’s Innovation Center for Education (ICE). IZee will utilize ICE to equip its students with top-notch skills in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Blockchain. Apart from industry exposure, it aims to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world demands.
The event featured industry leaders like:
- Mr Vithal Madyalkar, Director of IBM ICE
- Mr Shivam Sharma, CEO & Founder of TransNeuron
And IZee’s guiding stars:
- Dr Zaheesh Moideen, Chairman & Founder
- Ms Nancy Thiara, Director of Corporate Relations
- Ms Rani Srinivas, Director of Learning & Development
- Ms Saraswati Kumbale, Principal
- Dr Chethan Bajaj, Mentor & Advisor
- Ms Anusha Ravindran, Senior Manager of Career Development Cell (CDC)
A series of podcasts continued the event. The first one was hosted by Ms Sneha Ojha, a student of the 2023 MBA batch and one of the founding members of the IZee Media Team. The first podcast featured Mr Shivam Sharma, who shared how the partnership between TransNeuron Technologies and IZee Business School will help students distinguish themselves from their competitive peers. Dr Soumya Sangawar took over the hosting for another round of podcast with Mr Vithal Madyalkar, where he threw light on the benefits of IBM certifications, real-world projects, and global projects. He continued on how these certifications will provide practical skills and open international career opportunities.
The partnership isn’t just something to be celebrated and talked about; it is a change in how conventional wisdom has flown for years. It’s an initiative that’ll put a break to only theoretical wisdom being pushed down the students’ minds and actually integrate some of the practical skills that will help them in the real world to turn their ambitions into a reality.
