With the latest introduction of the Aviation Club, IZee Business School was ready to revolutionise the Aviation industry. The club focused on equipping students with practical experience along with theoretical knowledge. Taking the first steps towards this mission, the club organised an Air Traffic Control (ATC) visit at the Bengaluru Airport for its members. This was an excellent opportunity for the students to get to the airport and gain insights into the aviation industry.
The IZee students embarked on a field trip to the Bengaluru airport and started their journey from the School on a bus. The students of the IZee know how to switch between their fun and learning modes. During the trip to the airport, students massively enjoyed their journey by dancing to songs and enjoying themselves. The students entered the airport, and in a rare opportunity, they visited the ATC tower. The students gained insights into how air traffic controllers manage dozens of flights in real time. The ATC team explained to the students how dashboards and communication systems play a significant role and how to use them to assist pilots flying. The visit gave the students an on-ground look at what they had only theoretically reflected upon. “It was exciting to observe the things in action which we only had witnessed in the books. The team of ATCs was also very supportive and helped us understand the how of everything. Thanks to IZee for the opportunity,” one visitor remarked.
While the students were observing the atmosphere at its peak, one of the ATC team members commented, “It’s nice to see the students take such interest in the sophisticated aviation sector. We hope to see one of the students make big moves in the industry in the future.” Eldow Mathew, the assistant professor, added, “We are grateful that Bengaluru Airport allowed us to bring in the students and get them the taste of the actual experience. This is one of the first steps towards the mission of the Aviation Club; a lot more is to come.” One of the top MBA colleges in Bangalore seems to be standing up to their promises and providing one of the better education experiences.
