MBA students from the 4th Semester – Logistics & Supply Chain Management visited an Amazon Fulfilment Centre for an exclusive in-person industry tour.
The visit gave students an opportunity to observe the scale and functioning of a modern fulfilment operation, with a closer look at the processes that support inventory movement, order fulfilment and supply chain management.
Experiencing the operational environment first-hand helped students connect their academic understanding of logistics and supply chain systems with the complexities of a large-scale business operation.
The visit offered a practical view of how technology, processes and people work together to keep a global fulfilment network moving efficiently.
