IZee Business School holds its annual Ethnic Day every year on January 29th. 2025 was no exception. Like every year, a vibrant celebration took place at the best MBA college in Bangalore to honor India’s rich cultural heritage. The Ethnic Day was the visual representation of “Colours of India.” The students and faculty joined the campus in traditional attire, adding a beautiful adornment to the college’s aura.
The presence of Prof. Nancy Thiara, director of corporate relations at IZee, and Prof. Rani Srinivas, director of IZee’s popular career development cell (CDC), among the other esteemed faculty, highlighted how the blend of colors and cultural heritage is of high importance in shaping well-rounded individuals.
Keeping the event true to its name, it brought captivating traditional performances from across the nation, starting with a dance performance from Telangana. Followed the dance forms from Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, and Tamil Nadu, highlighting the traditional artistic intelligence of each region.
Honoring the musical roots of India, Ronit & friends surprised the audience with their exuberant performance of Assamese songs. Similarly, Sagar & Pradeep showcased a medley of the South and Bollywood songs, further enhancing the cultural ambiance.

The audience at IZee wasn’t ready for the main highlight of the event that followed—an awe-inspiring demonstration of Silambattam, a traditional martial art form from Tamil Nadu, performed by Binod N, Nishanth Babu, and Naresh Kumar. Their display of skill and agility left the audience spellbound.
The campus further witnessed a performance of Yakshagana, Karnataka’s renowned folk dance-drama, by Suresh Naidu and Pamela Bharath, leaving the audience electrified. They united with other participants to deliver the event’s grand finale—the ramp walk. Students represented the nine states as they displayed their traditional attire on the stage, an exquisite testament to the nation’s heritage.
Ethnic Day at IZee Business School wasn’t just another event that top B schools in Bangalore organize for its own sake. It was much more than that—a reminder to preserve and cherish the beauty of India’s rich and varied cultural traditions. It was a prompt that successful individuals are not just wealthy financially or intellectually but also culturally—respecting the bonds of unity in diversity. The whole event fostered cultural awareness and appreciation among the entire community.
