One of the key skills that the IZee Business School, one of the top B schools in Bangalore, markets for is entrepreneurship. However, the catch about teaching this skill is that it cannot be taught the conventional way, i.e., not with books and pens. It requires practical, hands-on experience for building entrepreneurs. IZee recognizes the importance of this and accordingly announced the event, IZee Extravaganza. It aims to build leadership and entrepreneurship skills in a fun and engaging structure.
The event began with the tradition of a ribbon-cutting ceremony, overflowing with participating students’ enthusiasm. All of them were ready to take care of their stalls, including a tattoo stall, mehendi stall, hair styling station, and handcrafted items stalls. It was a creative show and a half. It was the presentation of the students that completely took the show. Speaking of presentations, the cooking passionates dominated with their beautifully decorated, hygienic, delicious dishes. And all fun is incomplete without some games, which the game stalls took care of.
IZee’s exclusive cultural events were being held alongside the trade fair, where student lit the stage on fire with their energetic dance and music performances. The cultural events concluded with an award ceremony to recognize the stallholders who tried to shine from others. The awards and recognitions included the titles of Best Profit Maker, Best Stall Name, Best Presentation of the Product, Best Stall Decor, and Best Advertisement and Marketing. This recognition served as a gentle recognition to those who have it in them to become future industry leaders.
The whole point of organising such an event was for the students to activate that problem-solving muscle, share their business ideas, seek advice, and develop a strong understanding of current trade trends. In terms of what students took away from the whole event, the conclusion was personal growth, collaborative opportunities, and support in the journey towards business success.
